This is an extremely interesting and yet sad point in our community, we have lost our footing on solid ground and have our vision blurred out. We don’t exactly have a Main game that we can call our own atm, we can barely call other games ours. I figured this was going to happen eventually because we never moved on past counter-strike. That is not to say we haven’t had some wicked times in the past and when I look back once in a while it makes me smile. I cannot say what we have planned because honestly I myself don’t know in which direction we are headed. It’s a busy time in my life soon so I cannot exactly dedicate myself to bringing the fire back into my heart; that of Syndicate Assault.
I personally will not have a summer break this year; I’ll be working and going to school both full time. That leaves me with a few options some of you might like them others might not, don’t get ready to comment negatively on this subject just give me your two cents. First option is as I believe the last option if nothing else happens, I will shutdown all servers we own and pay for unless otherwise paid for by members at their own regard. The only thing I will keep running will be Ventrilo 10 slots and our website and only www[.]Team-SA[.]net as it’s paid for the next 4 years. Everything else any and all domain names and server(s) will be gone period.
The second option is that if I can find someone who actually is dedicated competent and willing to do all the work or bring friends to help himself. That person will get full access to our community and take it in a way he / she feels fit; of course under some guide from me. He can pick new games or services or whatever she / he wants to do and I will most probably back them 100% on the subject. The third option would be to just let our members do their own thing play whatever games they want do what they need to do in life and just stay connected through our ventrilo and website as friends and I would say family.
Its been a long and hard year for myself and this community, I have come to just believe that this would be a part of my life period. I cannot see myself ever shutting down this community even if I sat in ventrilo alone when I played games or chilled. With that being said I hope to get some response from everyone in the comment section but I don’t expect anything at all. I wish everyone who does take the time and shows me some respect by reading this a prosperous, happy and great 2010. Everyone else who doesn’t well you can SMD.
